President’s Report (John J. Gianoni):
Mary Jane Lindquist and John J. Gianoni went to the banks and changed names and addresses on the accounts. John also went to the Post Office and setup a P.O. Box. Mary Jane and John will have the keys.

We are currently working on the membership list and trying to get as many members as possible onto the electronic/email distribution of the newsletter and cut down on the amount of hardcopy, postage paid mailers, to save money.
City Village Report:
City Councilor, Cheryl Thibeault – Provided an update on Wheeler Clinic and exploring more tenants for the center of Bristol.
Leo Bonola, First Deputy: – (a) Spoke to Bob Barnett about a new bench to honor Jack Dennehy. The bench has been approved, but the location needs to be worked out. (b) The Casino Bus Trip is on hold until Covid restrictions are lightened. (c) The billboard for WWII photographs was put on hold. Will bring pictures for the next meeting, so everyone can see what it looks like.
Rick Leach, Vice President: - No Report
John Gianoni, Pine Lake: – A fishing derby is scheduled for May 7th, from 7am – noon. Last year had approx. 35 kids, catching over 100 fish.
Christine Levesque, F.V.A. Scholarship – The Scholarship went out to all the local schools and our new P.O. Box was provided for returns.
Bruce Barton, American Legion Post 209: – The Post had another Blood Drive last month! The AL Post 209 Fishing Derby will be held on May 15th. For all updated Post 209 event information and happenings, please visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ALpost209. We are always accepting new members.
Maryellen Holden: No Report
Mary Jane Lindquist, Treasurer: (a) All current bills have been paid. (b) Donation to the Bob Watson Scholarship Fund has been approved.
Mary Jane Lindquist, Membership: The current membership stands at 20 families and 20 businesses. Welcome new F.V.A. members Ashley Macaro and Mary Ann Kowalczyk to tonight’s meeting. Cheryl Thibeault and Ashley Macaro will come up with a new design for postcards, which can be handed out to help recruit new members. Everyone is encouraged to get people to join.
Historical Markers: - Are in the works.
Fundraising: A lot of fundraising ideas were brought up. We are going to explore all of the options and report at the next meeting.
